We should've seen this coming. Due to our willful ignorance, we turned a blind eye and now we are mired in the midst of a recession and all I can think about are shiny, pretty things I can't afford.
Sure some of these I could never afford even before the majority of the world banks tanked and the buzz words "recession" and mattress burning" weren't part of our daily vocabulary but now I'm really hurting.

My problem? I like fashion, art and design. Unfortunately, fashion, art and design do not come cheap and now I am forced to the post of perpetual window watcher. Share with me the delights of finding something beautiful and the ensuing depression when it sets in that I can't buy it.

This is not to say I will only share too expensive things. I am a lover of vintage, one of a kind pieces as well as frocks and knick-knacks that have soul in them. This will be a bit of everything and probably incredibly disconnected. But we'll see.
